Introduction

Welcome to my English teaching blog. I have been living and teaching in Seattle for the past 20 years. Seattle is a wonderful place to live, explore and study English. In this blog, I will introduce you to my family and share all the things I like to do in Seattle in my free time. In turn, I hope to learn about your families, backgrounds and adventures in Seattle as you blog to better English. I look forward to the weekly blogs that you will share with me, classmates, friends and family.

Seattle is in the Northwest of the United States and is surrounded by water and mountains. The Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges as well as the Puget Sound and Lake Washington make for stunning views in Seattle. Please include some maps to show us where your country and hometown are situated. Also include information about the important geographic features of your area.

Seattle has many great neighborhoods to explore and hopefully you will discover many of them this quarter. My favorites include Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, Fremont, Ravena, Ballard and of course the downtown where we have class.
